TAPCO today introduced the Series 69 Passive Loudspeaker line. Created for use in a variety of applications — including live sound reinforcement and music playback — the new Series 69 loudspeakers combine Mackie-inspired design with TAPCO’s tradition of maximum quality and performance at an affordable price.

“There are still a lot of people out there that prefer separate power amps and speakers. With a variety of sizes and configurations, these powerful speakers will definitely be a welcome surprise for audio professionals, particularly when they see the price,” said John Boudreau, TAPCO Product Manager.

The Series 69 loudspeaker line consists of the 6912, 6915 and 6925 two-way, full-range loudspeakers, as well as the 6818s subwoofer. All loudspeakers in the series feature Neutrik® Speakon™ and TRS ¼-inch inputs for maximum hookup options and are pole mountable for greater crowd coverage. Encased in a rugged Tolex™ vinyl covering, each of the 6912, 6915 and 6925 loudspeakers features a precision low-frequency woofer and a one-inch high-output compression driver with built-in protection circuitry.

The Series 69 Passive Loudspeaker family includes the 6912, a 12-inch two-way system; the 6915, a 15-inch two-way system; the 6925, a dual 15-inch two-way system, and the 6918s 18-inch passive subwoofer.

About TAPCO
TAPCO revolutionized the pro audio industry back in 1969 with the very first 6-channel PA mixer specifically made for rock 'n' roll. Designed by audio guru Greg Mackie, the first TAPCO mixer was priced just right for starving musicians and durable enough to withstand mammoth-levels of on the road wear and tear. Today, TAPCO has been reborn-backed by the engineering and product development horsepower of Mackie. TAPCO is a LOUD Technologies Inc. brand. For more information visit:
