The theme for this year’s Winnipeg New Music Festival is “Breaking New Ground” and from a musical stand point, that is exactly what will be seen and heard from February 6th to the 12th, 2010 in Winnipeg, Mani-toba Canada. The yearly festival includes what is to be an incredible live concert by composer & electric guitarist, Tim Brady, on the final evening. This unbelievable orchestral performance features Brady on electric guitar playing alongside the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and a jaw dropping 20-piece ensemble of electric guitarists…all on one stage!
Tim Brady’s New Music Festival residency culminates with the world premiere of a new work for 21 electric guitars (including Brady on electric guitar solo) and orchestra: Amplify, Multiply, Remix and Redefine. Godin Guitars are the official sponsor of Tim Brady’s performance with the WSO in 2010 and provided 20 electric guitars for this momentous concert. Godin electric guitar models that were provided include Godin Velocitys and Godin Freeway Classics.
