Ludwig Drums has provided a free video so that all drummers can learn how to set up and play their new Ludwig drums, or anyone else's drums for that matter. The twenty minute video was produced by Mel Bay Publications and features Ludwig Artist Steve Fidyk and his son Tony, as they open the drum boxes for the first time and assemble their new Ludwig outfit. The free video is available at the Ludwig web site, www.ludwig-drums.com. Ludwig Setup and PlayThe free online video is part of a longer 80 minute DVD by Fidyk that includes additional instructions on drumming fundamentals and tuning. The longer video is available for purchase for either online viewing or the actual DVD. The site also features other popular Mel Bay publications related to drumming, which are available for purchase.

To publicize the new video, all Ludwig outfits will include a large notice on each bass drum box, referring to the Ludwig web site. Also, Ludwig dealers will be provided point-of-purchase materials so that all customers can have easy access to Fidyk's instructions. These materials will include tear-off sheets with the website address so that consumers can reference the website at home. New and experienced drummers alike will be able to enjoy the free video as well access many other tools to enhance their drumming experience.
