Hate Dies Hard New CD with New SingerHate Dies Hard comes back with a new singer, a new bassist and a new CD recorded and produced at Mars Studio with Bill Korecky (Mushroomhead, Kilhaul....) In 1994, twelve years after they met through a guitar teacher, Steve Blankenship and Sean Barringers' minds would cross again to form Hate Dies Hard. With a shared vision of how guitar-driven rock should sound, they spent their time in a Northeast Ohio bedroom studio honing an identity. In 1996, the two multi-instrumentalists release a self-produced CD called "Denial". The EP served as a launching pad, earning rave reviews in regional zines and considerable airplay on underground and college radio. In the coming years they formed a band and recorded the 1999 full-length "Further". They launched a national radio campaign in support of the record, playing the Midwest and building a solid fan base with their progressive sound and intelligent lyrics. Through the support of independent and internet radio, HDH continue writing-recording and release a self-titled EP in the summer of 2003. With the addition of European vocalist/lyricist LiLi Roquelin to the group, they record with renowned engineer/producer Bill Korecky{Mushroomhead,Integrity} and welcome bassist Scott Bivens. Now, with their 2006 debut "Neverending Sundown" Hate Dies Hard emerge as an undeniable force in the realm of hard rock. Close your eyes. Trust your ears. The rhythm will guide you. A dynamic trip through sonic reality.
