In the midst of a busy summer tour schedule, San Francisco's The Stone Foxes recorded and are set to release a new 7-inch "Psycho b/w Serious People" featuring the tracks Psycho and Serious People. The tracks are currently available for free to Stone Foxes fans via their email list and the album will be available on all major digital retailers July 26th and on Vinyl through the Stone Foxes.com and at shows in early August.
Art work was created by a group of San Diego super fans who graciously contributed their coloring skills to the layout designed by Stone Foxes bass player Aaron Mort. The two new tracks were recorded with Scott McDowell (I'm A King Bee for Jack Daniels Honey) at Hyde Street Studio C & Tiny Telephone in San Francisco, CA and mastered by John Greenham. You will hear Spencer Koehler on Guitar, Aaron Mort on Bass & Vocals, Shannon Koehler on Drums, Harmonica & Vocals and Elliott Peltzman on Rhodes, Organ and Piano.
The Stone Foxes are on tour throughout the summer. Upcoming dates will include support slots for George Thorogood & the Destroyers, club shows and festival dates at DeLuna, Outside Lands, VooDoo Fest, Black Swamp Arts Festival and the Joshua Tree Roots Music Festival.
