  • All music submitted must be 100% owned and copyrighted to entrant and master rights to the sound recording must be 100% controlled by the entrant. All submissions must be entrant's original work. Q: "Why Should I Submit My Music?"

A: There are many reasons!

If selected, your music will appear on an exclusive BandRadio.com compilation CD that will be distributed directly to top music industry creative executives in A&R, music publishing, film & TV music as well as artist managers, record producers, music attorneys, radio programmers and more.

Five (5) copies of the CD will be given to the winners. Of course, this will allow all the artists/bands on the compilation to have a chance to be heard in regions/venues that may otherwise not have been accessible. If you wish to distribute the CD to your own contacts, local college radio stations, commercial radio stations, etc. then by all means do so, this affords all the artists even more exposure. Keep in mind that the other artists/bands will be doing the same. If you wish to sell your CD's to recoup your expenses for participation that is also admissible.

Plus, your music will be published on a professional quality music CD that you can use as a promotional tool AND get paid royalties for your art!

Q: "How Many Songs Can I Submit?"

A: We encourage you to send your 3 best songs, but you may submit as many as you wish. We accept only 1 artist/band per submission form. Agents may send submissions of more than one artist/band, but each artist/band must have a separate submission form.

Q: "What kind of genres do you accept?"

A: We accept and review all genres of music.

Q: "Can my music include profanity?"

Q: "Will I lose any of my rights to my songs after I submit them to BandRadio.com?"

A: No. Absolutely not. You will retain ALL rights to ALL your songs. BandRadio.com is only interested in helping to expose and promote you to the creative community, not rip off your work. Besides, if we select your track, it's illegal for us to replicate CDs without express, written permission of copyright owners - you, the artist.

Q: "If my music is NOT selected for the compilation - will I be notified?"

A: Yes. All artists/bands whose music is not selected for the compilation CD will be notified via email shortly after the final decisions have been made in December.
