We caught this band live at the Atlantis Music Conference and they were nothing short of amazing. Many bands put on great live shows, but then you listen to the disc and it pales in comparison. Not Uncrowned. You get it hard and heavy, live or on disc. It's no surprise the band packed 10 High. Watch this band they are definitely going places.

Passion comes in many forms, be it art, music, or poetry, and for the Atlanta-based quartet known as UNCROWNED, passion comes alive through the talents & visions of front man / guitarist Stephen Bazzell, guitarist / backing vocalist Jack Andrad, bassist Stuart Clark, and drummer Eric Falk.
Individually, the four members that make up the band formerly known as Falling Up are each, seasoned musicians and bring with them, diverse influences, rich backgrounds, and a strong work ethic. Collectively, the quartet has forged a bond that goes beyond common friendship or team chemistry, and instead, is a singular representation of their shared commitment, emotion, and creative visions.
Since their inception in March 2000, UNCROWNED, whose influences range from Stone Temple Pilots, Fuel, and Foo Fighters to Incubus, Linkin Park, and Rage Against The Machine, has molded their own distinct brand of rock that they have self-titled “Modern Edge.”
From the intense beauty of “Grace” (S/T 5-song EP) or the desperate urgency of “Astoria” (3-song Demo 2001) to the emotional impact of “Queen of New York” (2002-Produced by Rusty Cobb-Stuck Mojo, Cloud 10, Injected), UNCROWNED reveals their penchant for crafting infectious & diverse songs that also retain the sincerity & resourcefulness of the group.
With every successive recording, UNCROWNED continues to evolve, refining their sound as they attempt to achieve the perfect balance between vigor & melody, darkness & beauty, and integrity & appeal.
Aside from their superior songwriting and skilled musicianship, UNCROWNED has placed a strong emphasis on their live show, delivering unforgettable performances that are composed of pure energy & passion. And, with an attitude of wanting to connect with listeners on a deeper level than just the music, UNCROWNED has formed a dedicated fan base that increases with every performance.
Despite the youthfulness of the band, UNCROWNED has already accumulated a number of impressive accomplishments that belies the Independent status of the group:
· Winners of The Next Level competition. Performing at 2002 Music Midtown on the 99X Main Stage (Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Counting Crows, Adema, Puddle Of Mudd, Injected)
· Performed at the 2001 Atlantis Music Conference.
· Selected to appear on the 2001 Rolling Rock / Creative Loafing / Somber Reptile Compilation CD of Southeastern Talent.
· Selected to compete in the 2001 Rolling Rock Town Fair Battle Of the Bands.
· Performed live on the pilot episode of NexTV, a television program that showcases art & music in the Southeast
