MP3 Song
I'm in Love with My Gun

THE SONG
Great rock tune covering some of the difficulties experienced in life. The mood of the tune well represents the subject matter.

THE CD
13 rockin' an poppin tunes. The disc has a great edge that grows with repeat listens.

This band was formed after a bad record deal and a year and a half of constant touring with THE BOGUS TOMS. After getting rid of the record company, two band members, and all the rest of the crap that went along with "that band", writing began for what was to become the new self- titled CD "UNCLE TOM". This band is not afraid to tour, but this time they'll wait until the time is right. However, until then, they'll do shows now and then around L.A. to keep in shape....and they'll eat healthy...yeah right!!! UNCLE TOM IS:

LOUIE "Woodshit" SHILLING

Insane and sometimes criminal drummer from North Dakota who pretty much was told to leave the state. One of the more entertaining convictions on his police record was for off-roading with a stolen school bus. He was previously in a band called The BOGUS TOMS with singer/guitarist Beast. He has a habit of setting his drums on fire and sometimes himself as well. He loves women, water skiing, vinyl records, and the taste of lighter fluid. He hates work, small talk, and music with more than four chords.

FLING

Fling knew he was going to be a bass player from a very early age. He got his name at the age of 13 because of an obsession with Flea and Sting. The rest is history. Fling was flung from UNCLE TOM after the completion of the new album primarily because he was deported back to England for not having a work permit. He came to the U.S. with his parents who were rich ambassadors or something and stayed behind to be a rock star. Last we heard he was trying to find out how Sid Vicious got to stay in the country.

BEAST

Beast doesn't remember if his name came from school yard teasing or if it is a reference to his eating habits (food and otherwise). He grew up just north of New York City and has a Master's Degree in clinical psychology (school is where he started writing songs, music is where he needed psychology). His passion is for music and his obsession is guitars and muscle cars...he's got some real cool ones. He spent a number of years recording and touring with THE BOGUS TOMS, but that band was just the seeds of what was to become UNCLE TOM. He wrote, produced, and recorded the new CD.
