MP3 Song
Gagged and Bound
THE SONG
A cool brooding piano riff starts the song and that crescendos into the vocal line. A very nice riff here for sure. The drums match the feel of the song well and the sound itself is amazingly complimentary to the mood and style. Vocally, there are some great inflections and twists that make Gagged and Bound a winning track.
THE CD
Here's a twist: An album with real string instruments on it! It sounds amazing. The Count has a style reminiscent of people like Billy Joel and Elton John but he indeed has his own space. The disc is dramatic and has many ups and downs that make each song a journey. Catatonic State of Mind is a breath of fresh air and we are inhaling.
