Shaking Tree is a four piece eclectic alternative rock
band that combines world beat textures with todays
pop and alternative styles. This band began playing in
the summer of 1996. The band resides in the Kansas
City and Lawrence area. Despite the bands mid-western roots, their
sound is like nothing else in the area.
The band's song 'Simple Things' was the pick hit of the day on this site for July 5 on amp3.com
