Oklahoma - where the wind sweeps, the air is clean, the people are cool, and it's the best place to rock'n'roll with music sensation Prophecy. These four boys from the Heartland have been revving up rock'n'roll for three years and have only gained momentum with each shifting gear.
Prophecy's latest record Prophecy Presents "Stranded in Coolsville" is a fresh new look into the murky pool of rock. You won't find any angst here, only road romping, super-charged songs that have accelerated into speedermode. Not only has this new record found a niche in today's music scene but also it is a style that is not currently in the market. With influences ranging from great legends like Elvis, Buddy Holly, and Chuck Berry mixed with modern influences like Superdrag, Foo Fighters, and Aerosmith "Stranded in Coolsville" treads on new ground that has already been readily accepted. Prophecy has been on tour with Value Pac/Silage as well as Silage/Zilch. These two tours were both a month and a half in length and spanned from California to Florida. Despite being an independent band, Prophecy was well accepted and able to survive the tours on merchandise alone. The band is ready and willing to hit the road again soon.
When you catch these guys live you are not only going to get a great sound spawned from many nights of practice, but also a power packed performance. The goal is to let the people have a great time dancing and singing like rock'n'roll is supposed to be about. It's guaranteed that you will not go away disappointed and with a swing in your step.
Most importantly to Prophecy and the reason they practice and play so hard is because of their Savior. Anyone can play music, but without a purpose it is only music. Prophecy has a mission to actually influence peoples' lives. Reaching someone on a spiritual level is the most important and quite frankly the only thing that matters at a Prophecy show. They are ready and willing to go anywhere to reach the people who need the love and salvation of Jesus.
