MP3 Song
Gabriel

THE SONG
A clean, cool acoustic tune. Marc has a smooth voice that fits perfectly for this song. The arrangement is complete and full. The disc is well recorded and mastered. Excellent work.

THE CD
A mostly acoustical cd full of some of the great sounds of the 70's but totally fitting for the present. Elements of the Beatles and the soul of artists like Christopher Cross make this a fantastic disc. Think of some of the best acoustic and soulful bands and Mark is on his way!

He loves to roam, he loves to explore, and he loves to be at home by the fire with his stream-of-atlas consciousness. A desire to search and travel, both physically and creatively, is what best describes his state of mind and musical anecdote. Lust for Wanda, the title of Teamaker's first full-length recording effort as a solo artist, is a twelve song tale that will captivate your imagination and catapult you through quirky melodies and interesting harmonic changes. Born in the Bronx and raised in Yonkers, Teamaker had a range of childhood experiences that peaked his driving fascination. To him, there's one early year of particular importance. 1964, a blizzard to make history, the summer's World's Fair, and the Beatles on Ed Sullivan... the seeds are planted... wanderlust begins. By age twelve a musical career is imminent. A guitar, a garage band, a trip through adolescence and off to the world. Time spent at Berklee College of Music yields an eclectic musical vocabulary and an expressive compositional ability develops.

In recent years Teamaker has fronted several quirky-pop groups visible in the Northeast. Clockwork, The Powder Monkeys, and Bethesda Angel were some creative successes which all suffered the often inevitable rift between band members. It ís now 1998 and Teamaker has arrived on his own terms.

The camera pans to a '72 summer garage where three tank tops bash and thrash the little Stevie Marriot make believe. He'll turn a page to Brazil, and another to Orwell's Down and Out in London and Paris. The next thing you know he's four years old and enchanted by mop-top lads on a cold February Sunday... Itchycoo flake gone mad into the humblest of pies... Before John left for the coast where he couldn't find Saturday or Sunday... Before I go any further, slap me.

Teamaker is a tunesmith, a character who's tales are spouting and popping out from his head - like a teapot. Be prepared for him to pop up in your story.
