MP3 Song
Goodnight Mrs. Calabash

THE SONG
Nice vibe and vocals on this song from Jefferson Denim. Pop mixed with a little rap and some great female backup vocals make for a great tune.

THE CD
10 songs that have an interesting lyrical wit like that of Sting. Well crafted pop with nice delivery and backing vocals. The range of styles and feel on this disc keep it interesting and make it a winner.

Jefferson Denim is one artist/songwriter/composer/performer/ musician who is not afraid to want to do it all. A self-described music junkie, Jefferson is just as comfortable singing and performing his own stylized pop music as he is composing for film and television.

In 1999 alone, Jefferson has been profiled on the PBS series CD Highway, was the house band for 10 episodes of the Power Living With Jake show on the F/X and FIT TV television networks, and had much of the music off of his two indie CD releases Into The Red and Dharma featured on Discovery Channel's Outward Bound series. Jefferson Denim songs are also featured in the upcoming films No Rest For The Wicked, Two Warm Nights In Vegas, Soul Mates, and the made-for-HBO Wildflower. In addition, Denim and composing partner Stephen Teller have composed music for the nationally syndicated show Living Better With Carrie Wiatt, CBS's long running The Price Is Right, the nationally televised Cyclone Crosstrainer, Restore 4 and Susan Powter's Give Me Five infomercials, as well as other projects.

JD is currently hard at work on his next indie CD, tentatively scheduled for release in early 2000. Stay tuned.
