MP3 Song
Any Way

THE SONG
"AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!! A well crafted pop song with a very catchy chorus. A must listen!"

THE CD
A fantastic collection of 9 songs. This cd can compete with anything on the charts. Great craftmanship and songwriting. The vocals are soothing, haunting and luring. The only reason the cd left the player since we recieved it was to encode the Real Audio and it's going right back!"

Nearly one year after her debut on Atlantic Records "Great Expectations" soundtrack, L.A. based Fisher announced her upcoming indy release entitled "One" that is available at many online retailer's sites. The song "Breakable", which was a one song deal on the Great Expectations soundtrack, has received much praise for the powerful singer.

Fisher is based in Los Angeles, California and she grew up in a small village in West Virginia called "Middlebourne"

Fisher sites her musical influences as:

1) Rickie Lee Jones...Pirates, what an album! And the ep "Girl at her Volcano"...particularly the Tom Waits penned "Rainbow Sleaves"...get out the kleenex.

2) Janis Joplin...If I had a dime for every time I sang "Me & Bobby McGee"...also, I thought I'd be just like her someday - a bleeding heart alcoholic...well, I got the bleeding heart part...

3) Pink Floyd..."Wish You Were Here"...one of my all-time favorite songs puts a knot in my gut every time..."We're just two lost souls living in a fish bowl year after year"...Oomph, right in the gut!!

4) The Pretenders...the early years, before everyone died..."I Go to Sleep", "Precious", "Birds of Paradise"

5) Aretha Franklin...what a woman! Anything that woman sings is magic

6) Stevie Wonder..."Songs in the Key of Life"...songs like "Village Ghetto Land" and "Love's in Need of Love"

7) And, of course, what teenaged girl's album collection would be complete without Carol King's "Tapestry" (which, of course, I stole from my mom...)"

Fisher has previously opened for Alanis Morissette, Oasis and Lisa Loeb and was also invited to do some shows on the Lilith Fair.

Fisher will be showcasing her talents at Eat-M in Las Vegas on May 21st.

Editor's note: Fisher was signed to FarmClub/Interscope Records
