MP3 Song
Join Me

THE SONG
A catchy, hip song about how misery loves company. Poppy rock that won't stop.

THE CD
A strong disc full of catchy and fun songs with a punk/pop/rock flavor. The vocals remind you of Art Alexakis from Everclear. This band has some great raw rock n roll talent.

Bastards of Melody is a 4-piece pop-rock band based in Jersey City, NJ. The Bastards have been touring the Northeast non-stop since getting together in the spring of '98. Their debut EP release "Keep It Down!" has been getting great reviews and regional airplay since it's release in February 1999.

In February 2001 the band released it's first full length album titled "Fun Machine." The new CD, produced by famed former Bongo's member James Mastro, picks up where "Keep It Down," left off, a solid, tuneful, upbeat mix of pop and punk with a touch of country twang. In July of 2001, "Fun Machine" reached number 137 on College Music Journal's Top 200 airplay chart. To date, over 150 college stations in the US and Canada have been spinning songs off of "Fun Machine"

In addition to their active touring schedule, the Bastards have played many high profile music festival showcases including CMJ Music Marathon (New York City), North By Northeast (Toronto), NEMO Music Showcase (Boston) and Millenium Music Conference (Harrisburg, PA).
