When you're recording it's important to have sound proofing unless you want the room sound on your recording. This especially comes into play when recording vocals so that you can effect them exactly how you want to when it comes time to mix. Sound proofing can be expensive, so here are some inexpensive ways to do it.

1. Use some old sheets or blankets and hang them around the room to stop the bouncing of the sound.
2. Get egg crate type padding that people usually put on top of their matresses and use for camping.
