We have seen way too many bands expect the record company to come looking for them. Want to get signed? Well show the record companies what they want. After all it IS a business. Get more people to come to your shows everytime. Get local press. Start a email and mailing list. Play OFTEN. Build a buzz in your area. Get a upc code on your new cd release. Why? because when someone buys your cd in a store it gets tracked through soundscan. Record people often call stores to see how well local acts are selling. That's how Dave Matthews ang others got signed. Cd sales and a following. Do yourself a favor and show the record companies that you are worth their investment. Go do it now!
